The writing in this one is excellent, but the combat system is downright awful — it ruins the whole game for me.

2026 - June 10 - Wednesday:
I don’t think I got very far in this at all. I seem to recall getting to some point in the early story where you encounter a roadblock of some kind in the way of where you’re trying to go, requiring you to backtrack to some extent. I could be misremembering this, though, as I haven’t played this game probably since it was new, which was in ~2016.
