My partner and I recently watched this one (2026 - July 20 - Monday), and I was surprised by how sad of a movie it is! Back in the day, my family had this film on VHS, and as a result I’ve seen it a number of times. However, before the most recent viewing, it had probably been 15+ years since I had last watched it! That probably explains why I didn’t remember a lot of the “drama” aspects of it.

I thought John Travolta did a nice job as the lead character, and the overall story was interesting. One thing that I think could be improved is the pacing, as the runtime is about two hours, and I feel like it could probably be shaved down by 15-20 minutes pretty easily.
