Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Thoughts

My partner and I really enjoyed watching this one. I had last watched it back in 2024, but the sequels, especially the later ones, I haven’t watched in many years. While the movie adaptation has to skip through a bunch of extra things from the book, the film version is still great!

The casting was also excellently — all of the characters fit their role perfectly. It’s crazy to go back and watch these early Harry Potter films and see how young all of the cast is at this point! It reminds me of watching the first couple of seasons of Stranger Things.

Watch History

I watched this back in the day when it was new, but more recently I watched it in 2024. Following that, my partner and I watched it 2026 - June 10 - Wednesday.
