I ran into this when creating a new project for work, and there was some kind of conflict with the dependencies.

Error

The located assembly’s manifest definition does not match the assembly reference

Fix(es)

• Nuke all of the <assemblybinding> entries in the app.config file(s)
• In the Package Manager Console, run:
  • Get-Project -All | Add-BindingRedirect
